Apex is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Coordinator for one of their premier clients in Wentzville, MO.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform quality inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products
  • Complete QA check sheets, first-off inspections, and critical vehicle inspections
  • Conduct quality audits throughout the shift and document findings accurately
  • Support production teams by ensuring work instructions and quality standards are followed
  • Assist with training employees on quality procedures and work instructions
  • Investigate and support corrective actions related to quality concerns and customer issues
  • Monitor and address production hold units to keep production flowing efficiently
  • Ensure nonconforming materials are properly identified, tagged, and documented
  • Prepare end-of-shift quality reports
  • Support quality studies and initiatives including Gage R&R, MSA, and SPC activities
  • Promote compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
What We're Looking For
  • 1-3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with production and quality teams
  • Basic computer skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous quality assurance or quality inspection experience
  • Experience working within automotive manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with quality systems, audits, and corrective actions
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
