Metis is searching for a Commercial Lines Underwriting Specialist to join our Team.

You'll Do Things Like:
- Evaluate, underwrite, and manage new and renewal Commercial Property and Casualty accounts.
- Determine pricing, classifications, and coverage based on risk analysis and supporting documentation.
- Rate and process policy issuance and servicing transactions, including quotations, new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, audits, and related policy changes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of commercial lines underwriting, rating, and policy administration experience.
- Working knowledge of commercial Property and Casualty products, underwriting guidelines, ISO manual and forms, and related rating and policy administration systems.
- Located in Roanoke, VA or Richmond, VA

Expected hiring salary range is $55,000-$75,000. Actual offer will be based on a variety of factors including qualifications, credentials, education, experience and location.
