Job Description
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE MANAGER
ARE YOU A MANAGER — OR ARE YOU A LEADER?
There is a difference.
A manager watches the numbers.
A leader drives them.
A leader drives them.
We are seeking a highly experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead a busy franchise dealership service operation in Jackson, Tennessee.
This is NOT an entry-level management position.
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENT
Minimum FIVE (5) YEARS of successful automotive service management experience in a FRANCHISE NEW-CAR DEALERSHIP.
This requirement is non-negotiable.
If you don't have the experience, this isn't the position for you. If you do — keep reading.
WE WANT A WORKFLOW MAGICIAN.
You understand the entire machine:
Appointment → Write-Up → Dispatch → Diagnosis → Authorization → Parts → Production → QC → Delivery
You know what's in your shop, why it's there, what it's waiting on, who's responsible for the next step — and you make things move.
You understand technician productivity, efficiency, dispatch, shop capacity, HPRO, ELR, gross profit, CSI, customer retention and repair-order cycle time.
Most importantly, you understand that TIME IS INVENTORY.
WE WANT A LEADER.
You don't manage from behind a closed office door.
You're on the drive. You're in the shop. You coach advisors. You communicate with technicians. You work with Parts. You solve problems.
You set expectations, measure results and hold people accountable.
You are energetic, process-driven, customer-focused and team-focused.
You know how to build people, improve performance and create a culture where employees want to WIN.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MATTERS.
Customers should never have to wonder what is happening with their vehicle.
Communication matters. Follow-up matters. Keeping promises matters. Fixing the vehicle correctly matters.
You will be expected to create a culture of proactive customer communication and exceptional service.

WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive compensation based on experience and demonstrated performance, applicable company benefits, and the opportunity to lead and build a high-performing service operation with an established automotive organization.
