Teacher and Aide Positions Available

Yeshiva Derech Hatorah is looking for a part-time Lead Teachers and Aides for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year!

About 12 hours average per week in the afternoons Mondays through Thursdays. Strong supports, great pay, and wonderful environment!

Essential Functions:

%CF; Ensures safety of students

%CF; Implements YDT’s policies, rules, regulations, and directives

%CF; Manage and prepare daily lesson plans

%CF; Manage effectively the classroom behavior and learning environment

%CF; Take precautions to protect equipment, materials, and facilities

%CF; Maintain respect for confidential information

%CF; Contact parents through use of interim reports, report cards, and/or conferences %CF; Refer students suspected of learning or behavioral difficulties to the intervention assistance team

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

%CF; Assist in the selection of textbooks, equipment, and other educational materials %CF; Establish and maintain professional relationships

%CF; Participate in committees and co-curricular activities as agreed upon

%CF; Participate in intervention assistance team meetings

%CF; Maintain and improve professional competence by attending professional seminars, workshops, etc., to keep current on relevant issues
