Basis North America is currently seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine Mechanics to support field activities at a major industrial project in Port Arthur, Texas.
We are looking for hands-on mechanical professionals with proven experience performing maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, outages, overhauls, and repair activities on GE Frame 7 gas turbines.
Key Responsibilities
'05; Direct experience with GE Frame 7 gas turbines
'05; Strong mechanical background in heavy-duty gas turbine maintenance
'05; Experience with outages, overhauls, inspections, and troubleshooting
'05; Experience working in industrial, power generation, LNG, refinery, or petrochemical environments
'05; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and OEM documentation
'05; Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
'05; TWIC Card preferred
'05; Authorized to work in the United States

- Support turbine outages, shutdowns, turnarounds, and overhaul projects.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble turbine components.
- Verify clearances, tolerances, alignments, and mechanical integrity.
- Work with bearings, seals, rotors, casings, and auxiliary systems.
- Follow OEM procedures, engineering specifications, and safety requirements.
- Support commissioning and startup activities when required.
