Job Summary:

Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and reliable Resident Transportation Driver and painter to join our dedicated team. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting our residents to appointments, medical facilities, and activities, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their journey. When you are not driving you will paint around the facility as needed. Responsibilities:

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments, medical facilities, and activities in our facility vehicle

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff members

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff

• Collaborate with the activities department to plan and execute outings and activities

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records

• Participate in training and orientation programs to ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid, unencumbered NYS driver's license

• Ability to push, pull/lift a minimum of 25 pounds

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Pass an annual DOT Physical

Schedule:

• Part-time 20 - 30 hours a week

Salary: $18.00
