Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 per year

Ditmas Children's Nursing & Rehab is a premier pediatric long-term care facility in Brooklyn dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care to medically complex children. We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence, resident care, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing operations throughout the pediatric facility

• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and clinical staff

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental performance

• Lead quality improvement and survey readiness initiatives

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Foster a family-centered culture of care

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License

• Previous DON or senior nursing leadership experience

• Pediatric Long-Term Care or Pediatric Skilled Nursing experience required

• Strong leadership, communication, and regulatory knowledge
