We are seeking a Senior Director of Healthcare Operations to provide leadership and oversight for our Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, Mobile Health, Patient Access, and Call Center operations. This role works closely with the Chief Operations Officer to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, workforce effectiveness, financial sustainability, and high-quality patient care across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, mission-driven leader who can balance strategy with execution. You should be comfortable leading teams, analyzing data, solving operational challenges, and building strong relationships across departments.

Essential Functions
  • Operational Performance: Lead day-to-day operational performance across multiple healthcare service lines.
  • Patient Access: Improve patient access, scheduling, provider productivity, and clinic efficiency.
  • Departmental Oversight: Oversee Patient Access, referrals, Call Center operations, and mobile health services.
  • Data Utilization: Use data and performance metrics to identify barriers, improve workflows, and support growth.
  • Team Coordination: Strengthen coordination between medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and support teams.
  • Quality Initiatives: Support population health, quality improvement, UDS goals, and value-based care initiatives.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Pharmacy, and clinical leadership to improve outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Help ensure compliance with HRSA, UDS, FTCA, 340B, and other health center requirements.
  • Change Management: Lead operational change initiatives that support employee engagement, patient satisfaction, and organizational success.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, nursing, or related field; relevant leadership experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, clinic management, patient access, population health, or related leadership roles.
  • Supervisory Skills: Experience supervising teams, managing workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of healthcare operations, provider productivity, scheduling, patient access, UDS measures, HRSA requirements, and value-based care concepts.
  • Core Competencies: Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in a related field.
  • Clinical Setting: Experience in an FQHC, community health center, or similar healthcare setting.
  • Specialized Operations: Experience with patient access, Call Center operations, population health, provider productivity, 340B, UDS, or HRSA compliance.
  • Strategic Growth: Experience leading strategic initiatives, service expansion, and cross-departmental improvement projects.
