1 Full-Time Day Shift Position: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
3 Full-Time Night Shift Positions: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
At Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team as Charge Nurses.

As a Charge Nurse, you will:
Provide direct nursing care while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalized treatment
Lead and support CNAs and nursing staff during your assigned shift
Complete resident assessments and identify changes in condition
Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders and facility policies
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
Assign resident care duties based on staff abilities and resident needs
Perform rounds to monitor resident care, safety, and overall satisfaction
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
Promote compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
Support quality improvement initiatives and infection prevention efforts
Create a positive, respectful, and teamwork-focused environment
Current, active North Carolina RN or LPN license
Current CPR certification
Minimum one year of nursing experience required
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Previous charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to lead and support a nursing team in a fast-paced environment
