Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team through ongoing training, mentorship, and accountability.
- Structure and desk deals to maximize front-end and back-end profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, pricing strategy, merchandising, and vehicle aging to optimize dealership performance.
- Monitor and improve lead management, appointment conversion, sales effectiveness, and closing ratios.
- Maintain strong Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores and meet manufacturer performance objectives.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain top sales talent.
- Ensure all sales transactions comply with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Finance, Service, and Executive Leadership teams to drive operational and financial success.
- Analyze key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and customer retention.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and customer-focused excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven success as an Automotive Sales Manager, New Car Manager, Used Car Manager, or General Sales Manager.
- Required experience within a luxury or highline automotive dealership environment.
- Strong desking, closing, negotiation, and inventory management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales volume while maintaining gross profit and customer satisfaction.
- Track record of successfully leading, coaching, and developing sales professionals.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations, performance metrics, and manufacturer standards.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building abilities.
- Professional appearance with executive presence and strong relationship-management skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
