Role Selling Points
Haake Recruiting is currently assisting a boutique Atlanta hospitality group in their search for a General Manager. They champion integrity, generosity, and the highest-quality food and beverage across their spaces. As General Manager, you will own the full guest experience and P&L so our teams can celebrate one another while delivering memorable hospitality every night.
- Deliver 90+ guest-satisfaction scores and 4.5+ review ratings within 90 days by coaching every shift on genuine, menu-fluent service.
- Hit or exceed monthly sales, labor, and food-cost targets while protecting James Beard–caliber quality and farmer partnerships.
- Build a stable, high-performing team: fill all key FOH/BOH roles, cut turnover by 15% in year one, and run weekly training that lives our values of integrity, passion, respect, and curiosity.
- Own daily operations—reservations, floor flow, private dining, and events—so every guest, from game-day crowds to intimate celebrations, feels welcomed and well-cared-for.
- Partner with culinary and beverage leaders to keep menus, wine lists, and service standards consistent, profitable, and exciting.
- Resolve guest and team issues on the spot with generosity and professionalism, turning concerns into loyal regulars.
Environment & Resources
You report to ownership and lead a dedicated restaurant team of 40–80. You have full P&L ownership, OpenTable, established recipes and wine programs, daily family meal, ongoing education, and the 25% company-wide dining discount. We operate seven days a week in lively Atlanta neighborhoods.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years as GM or AGM in full-service restaurants with proven P&L results and guest-experience scores.
- Track record of building and retaining teams that deliver both numbers and hospitality with a can-do, laugh-out-loud spirit.
- Deep food-and-wine knowledge plus the ability to coach servers, hosts, and cooks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Comfort standing long shifts, lifting 50 lbs, and working nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Georgia pouring permit (or ability to obtain) and food-safety certification.
Role Selling Points
- Work alongside James Beard Award–winning chef-owners who still cook, taste, and walk the floor.
- Lead in a family-owned group that invests in careers, not just shifts—training, referrals, and real promotion paths.
- Enjoy medical/dental/vision, family meal, and 25% off every restaurant and shop in the group.
- Shape hospitality with integrity in Atlanta’s most beloved neighborhood spots.
