Order Puller Summary:
In this role, the Order Puller is responsible for accurately selecting, pulling, packing, and staging customer orders for shipment while maintaining productivity, inventory accuracy, and warehouse safety standards.
In this role, the Order Puller is responsible for accurately selecting, pulling, packing, and staging customer orders for shipment while maintaining productivity, inventory accuracy, and warehouse safety standards.
Order Puller Pay Rate: $14/hr.
Order Puller Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM until finished (typically 9-hour shifts)
Order Puller Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pull customer orders accurately according to pick tickets and packing lists.
- Pick and stage products for shipment in a timely manner.
- Verify quantities and item numbers to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipping.
- Load and unload products as needed.
- Organize inventory and maintain designated warehouse locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with receiving incoming inventory and restocking products.
- Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and inventory needs.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Order Puller Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order-pulling experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow pick tickets, packing slips, and shipping documents.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
