Stacy Trout State Farm is seeking a motivated, relationship-focused Sales Team Member to help individual and families protect what matters most. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, identifying their needs, and helping them make confident insurance and financial decisions.
The primary focus of this role is generating new business through prospecting, following up with leads, conducting insurance reviews, and recommending appropriate auto, home, life and health products. Our goal is not simply to sell policies, but to build lasting customer relationships by providing honest guidance and dependable service.
The right candidate will be goal oriented, confident initiating conversations, comfortable asking for the sale, and committed to consistent follow-up. Previous insurance experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train someone who is coachable, dependable, and eager to grow. Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance licenses will be required.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly base rate plus sales-based compensation. Strong performance creates opportunities for increased earnings, and professional development.

- Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, lead follow-up, networking, and community involvement.
- Build relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage.
- Sell auto, home, renters, life, health and other available insurance products.
- Meet or exceed individual and agency sales goals.
- Complete required licensing, training, and professional development.
- Work collaboratively with the agency team to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable initiating conversations with new people.
- Strong interest in sales and building customer relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to details.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and accept coaching.
- Must obtain applicable Property and Casualty and Life and Health insurance license.
