Position DescriptionThe Stockroom Clerk reports to the Director of Maintenance for the overall operation of the stockroom and to the Chief Inspector for matters related to quality control and regulatory compliance.Position SummaryThe Stockroom Clerk is responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection, identification, control, preservation, storage, and distribution of aircraft components and parts in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements. The Stockroom Clerk reviews incoming paperwork to determine work scope, verifies component part and serial numbers, and inspects for shipping damage and proper preservation. Components meeting these requirements are logged and a Work Order is opened as applicable. Components for which the Repair Station is not rated are identified and shipped to approved contract maintenance sources.The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for identifying, controlling, segregating, and maintaining stock as serviceable or unserviceable, including the proper preservation of parts subject to deterioration and shelf-life requirements. Duties also include maintaining inventory levels, rotating stock, supplying parts to Technicians, receiving and distributing incoming parts, and providing applicable technical information to the appropriate departments. The Stockroom Clerk shall maintain an organized and controlled stockroom and perform other duties as assigned by management.Position Location and ScheduleFull-time, first-shift position at AVMATS Component Support.827 Texas Ct.O'Fallon, MO 63366Monday - Friday6 am to 4:30 pmOvertime available as neededRequired QualificationsExcellent communications skills at all levels.Must be able to multi-task and complete tasks with speed and thoroughness.Ability to follow standard safety precautions.Be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands/arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more unassisted.Must have reliable transportation.Preferred Experience or QualificationsFamiliarity with the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control System Manual.Computer proficient and experience with office equipment such as copier and fax machine
