Job Description
PAC is seeking an experienced Operator Technician to build, wire, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical sub-assemblies and finished products. This position works from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documented work instructions while performing pneumatic tubing, electrical wiring, soldering, testing, and troubleshooting activities. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently identify and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
Responsibilities:
• Build, wire, and test electromechanical sub-assemblies and finished products according to drawings, schematics, and documented work instructions
• Fabricate and install pneumatic tubing, fittings, regulators, valves, and manifolds, including tube bending, leak checks, and pressure verification
• Install and terminate wiring harnesses, perform soldering and de-soldering, and verify continuity and point-to-point wiring
• Perform functional and final testing while troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults to the module or component level
• Inspect incoming components, document nonconforming material, and complete required ERP transactions and production documentation
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, process improvements, and technical training for Technician I personnel

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Two-year technical degree in electronics, electromechanical technology, instrumentation, or a related field preferred; equivalent military technical training or completed trade apprenticeship may be considered
• Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly, instrumentation, testing, or field service
• Demonstrated experience with pneumatic and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and process flow diagrams
• Experience with harness building, electrical terminations, soldering/de-soldering, digital multimeters, and basic electronic test equipment
• Pneumatic systems experience, including tube fittings, regulators, valves, flow controllers, and leak detection
• Ability to bend tubing from 1/8-inch to 1/2-inch
• Ability to safely operate electric and pneumatic hand tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP transaction entry
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

The base pay range for this position is $52,000–$58,240 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
