Mobile Infant Teacher

We are seeking a caring, patient, and attentive Mobile Infant Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. The teacher will support each infant’s social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development through responsive caregiving, age-appropriate activities, and consistent daily routines.

Responsibilities
  • Provide warm, responsive care based on each infant’s individual needs and schedule.
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate sensory, music, movement, language, and floor-play activities.
  • Encourage crawling, standing, early walking, exploration, and other developmental milestones.
  • Assist with feeding, diapering, handwashing, napping, and other daily care needs.
  • Follow safe sleep, feeding, sanitation, and diapering procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
  • Supervise infants closely and maintain required teacher-to-child ratios.
  • Observe and document each infant’s development, routines, milestones, and concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with families about feeding, diapering, sleep, activities, and development.
  • Follow the center’s curriculum, policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with assistant teachers, administrators, and other staff.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional-development activities.
QualificationsRequirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Early-childhood education coursework, CDA credential, or related degree preferred.
  • Previous experience caring for infants preferred.
  • Knowledge of infant development, safe sleep practices, and responsive caregiving preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to meet state licensing and background-check requirements.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, patience, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry infants, sit on the floor, bend, stand, and remain active throughout the day.
