General Manager 4 (Food Service)

Our client has a great opportunity for a General Manager for their campus segment account at a great University located in Winston-Salem, NC.

Position Summary:

• The General Manager 4 will oversee all contract management service operations at a single account/unit.
• Planning and supervising special functions and maintaining cash control and payroll records.
• Hiring and training unit personnel. Maintaining customer satisfaction and good public relations.
• Providing local leadership and strategic direction while developing a team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day-to-day operations.

What You Bring:

• Work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
• Culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
• Experience managing multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
• Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Culinary Management/Leadership Experience – 5 years
• Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
• Demonstrated experience managing food service operations at a college or institution of higher learning
• Culinary and back-of-house management experience (large food volume production
• Experience with P/L, budget ownership, and financial controls
• Food Safety and Sanitation Compliance Experience
• Valid Driver's License
