Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to keep the work area clean andorganized while supporting all the production team members with work flow andremoval/replacement of bin, carts, hangers or racks. In addition, this teammember has been properly trained to utilize both the baler and forklift.

Responsibilities and duties:

· Empties trash as it accumulates

· Removes empty carts while replacing them with full carts as needed by the sorters.

· Movesnon-sellable items to either the baler or trash

· Assists drivers with unloading

· Assists customers with furniture loading

· Producesbales as needed

· Loads or unloads trucks as necessary utilizing the forklift

· Operates the forklift minimally and when other team members are not present

· Maintains a clean and organized workstation; also maintains cleanliness of sales floor, restrooms, breakroom, warehouse, and exterior of the building to support a safe and organized work environment.

· Regularly meets the production goals of the position as outlined by the company

· Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

· Provides friendly and courteous service in all interactions with customers

Required Skills and Abilities

· Mustbe able to read, write and communicate with other team members

· Must demonstrate an attention to detail and keep records as required

· Goodeye-hand coordination to sort, grasp, hang or reroute product

· May berequired to perform in an alternate role at the request of the supervisor

Physical Requirements

· Lifting and carrying 50 lbs.

· Reachin goverhead 60% of time

· Pushing and pulling 4-6 lbs. of force (to push/pull up to 100 lbs. rolling rack)

· Pushing and pulling 50% of time

· Standing100% of time

· Repetitive use of hands 80% of time

· Bending and crouching 20% of time

· Grasping items with hands 100% of time

Working Conditions:

· Exposure to periodic temperature fluctuations

· Exposure to dust

· Flexibility with schedule based up store needs and sale days

· May be required to perform in an alternate role at the request of the supervisor

Education and Experience:

· High School Degree, GED or equivalent work experiences.

· Must be 22 year of age or older
