Job Summary

As a Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting our residents to scheduled appointments, social events, and outings while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a bus, van, or other transportation vehicle to transport residents to scheduled appointments, social events, and outings
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, courteous, and respectful to our residents and their families
Assist residents with their mobility and mobility aids, if needed, and provide emotional support as necessary
Maintain accurate records of transportation services, including trip manifests, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance schedules
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services and meet the needs of our residents
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the designated supervisor
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement
Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
