Transportation Driver / Resident Assistant

The Enclave at Cambridge is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Transportation Driver / Resident Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our residents safely get to appointments while also providing support and companionship within the facility.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in transportation, healthcare, caregiving, EMS, ambulette services, customer service, or direct resident care. STNA certification is a plus — but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and outings
• Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle safely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the transportation vehicle
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and healthcare providers
• Assist nursing staff with resident care and daily support when not transporting
• Observe and report changes in resident condition or concerns to nursing staff
• Help ensure resident comfort, dignity, and safety at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record
• Prior driving, transportation, healthcare, or caregiving experience preferred
• STNA certification is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to complete STNA training if needed
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screening
