Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This PART-TIME position is for a Customer Service Representative in support of a local State Farm Agency. The Agency is located at 112 W Harrison Ave, New Orleans, LA 70124. In-office hour requirements are 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. (with a 30-minute lunch break) 5 days/week. Total weekly hours are 27.5 hours/week. This schedule can be flexible for the right candidate.

The position requires you to have your Louisiana Property & Casualty insurance license. Having a Life & Health insurance license is a bonus! If you already have State Farm experience, that is a bonus as well!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dedicated to customer service
• Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers and coordinate with other agency team members
• Proactive in problem-solving
