About This Role

Our program focuses on fostering a nurturing, faith-centered environment where children can learn, grow, and explore through play, creativity, and relationships.

This is an as-needed position ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who enjoys working with young children. Substitutes step in when regular teachers are absent, ensuring a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment for our preschool students.

We are also currently seeking a long-term substitute for the period of mid-August to the end of September.

This role is not a consistent weekly position but an opportunity to support our school community when coverage is needed. Our school hours are 8:30-2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

  • Communicate effectively with staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Step in when needed to assist with classroom tasks and maintain the overall well-being of the children.

Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Prior childcare, preschool, or teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Enjoy working with young children and have a caring and dependable nature.
  • Able to lift 30 pounds and pass a full background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or Early Childhood Education credits preferred).

  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
  • Friendly, patient, and supportive with children.
  • Able to legally work in the United States of America.
