Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Home Health Aide program preferred
• Active HHA license preferred
• Physically able to perform caregiving duties
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to follow safety guidelines and maintain professionalism
• Meets all employment requirements
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
• Follow the care plan developed by the Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate with supervisors regarding client care
• Follow company policies and state regulations
  
  

Scope of Practice
Home Health Aides and CNAs are not permitted to perform skilled nursing procedures, including medication administration, sterile dressing changes, catheterization, tube feeding, tracheostomy care, wound irrigation, enemas, or any service outside the approved plan of care.
