About the Role:
CardioClinic in Houston, TX is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Representative to be the welcoming face of our healthcare practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced medical environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and compassionate manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EMR/EHR system
• Answer multi-line phone system, route calls, and respond to patient inquiries
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Ensure front desk area is organized, HIPAA-compliant, and welcoming at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; medical office certification a plus
• 1+ years of front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical billing basics ECW a bonus
• Knowledge of insurance verification and co-pay collection processes
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Houston market
