The role at a glance
  • Title: Electro-Mechanical Build Technician — Medical Carts
  • Shift: Second Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm
  • Pay: $22–$25/hour
  • Environment: Climate- and particulate-controlled cleanroom
  • Growth: Formal certifications to Level Two and Level Three (each requires at least six months of training, prior certification, and Team Lead approval)
What you’ll handle
  • Electrical assembly and sub-assembly of medical device applications
  • Soldering, wiring, and electrical testing per work instructions
  • Mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly on an assembly line as workload requires
  • Verification of parts and peer work to quality standards
  • Strict adherence to PPE, safety regulations, and ESD/ISO requirements
  • Root-cause and on-the-spot troubleshooting for equipment and build issues
  • Maintain 6S standards and consistent housekeeping
Minimum qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1+ year in electrical assembly
  • Technical: Read/interpret mechanical drawings; proficient with hand and power tools; conduct quality checks
Physical and visual requirements
  • Frequent use of hand/power tools; assembly of very small components
  • Ability to read and follow directions
  • Close and color vision; reading; lift up to 50 lbs
