Over the years our success and growth has led us to Roseville and a 68,000 square foot facility with a complete 18 bay truck shop and state-of-the-art bodyshop as well as our new Tanker and Trailer repair facility just 10 minutes north in New Brighton.Universal Truck Service was founded on the belief that great service and quality are not a thing of the past.A Day in the Life We are seeking a skilled and dependable Body Shop Painter, Prepper, and All-Around Worker to join our team. This multi-skilled role is responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, painting, assisting in body repairs, and supporting general shop operations. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.What You'll Do Prepare vehicles for painting (masking, sanding, taping, priming) Mix and match paint for accurate color and finishApply paint using spray guns and other equipment following OEM standardsInspect painted surfaces for quality and make corrections as needed Assist technicians in minor bodywork repairs (dent removal, filler work, panel, alignment)Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed for paint or repair Support body technicians with part replacement and hardware installation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint booth and work areas Clean tools and equipment after use Assist with inventory control of paint and materials Follow safety protocols and use PPE appropriately Schedule Full-time.
