Job Description
The Human Resources Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for the Human Resources department and assists with employee-related processes throughout the organization. This position supports recruiting, onboarding, employee records, training, performance reviews, benefits, compliance, and HR reporting while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting, background checks, new-hire onboarding, orientations, and termination procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, spreadsheets, and confidential files.
- Process and track PTO, vacation, sick time, and vacation payouts.
- Support employee recognition programs, performance reviews, training initiatives, and open enrollment.
- Respond to employee requests and provide timely administrative support to managers and employees.
- Prepare HR reports and enter employee information for internal and governmental reporting requirements.
- Assist with HR audits, projects, company-wide training, and other department initiatives.
- Maintain training documentation and records and assist with compliance audits.
- Support general office administration, including reception coverage and document processing.
- Follow company policies and AS9100/ISO requirements, maintain required records, participate in continuous improvement activities, and cooperate with auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or 3–4 years of administrative and/or Human Resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
