Equivity is seeking an experienced Remote Litigation Paralegal with a strong general litigation background and employment law experience to join our nationwide team of legal professionals. This role is ideal for a paralegal who is comfortable managing the day-to-day demands of active litigation matters and can provide reliable support throughout the litigation lifecycle.
Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing, formatting, and proofreading pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
- Managing discovery, including document production and organization
- E-filing in state and federal courts
- Maintaining litigation calendars, deadlines, and case files
- Assisting with deposition, mediation, hearing, and trial preparation
- Conducting legal and factual research
- Managing multiple active matters and competing deadlines
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of recent paralegal experience
- Strong general civil litigation and employment law experience
- Experience with state and federal court procedures and e-filing
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
- Comfortable learning and working across legal technology platforms
- Knowledge with Clio a plus
