Looking for a pediatric role where you can make a meaningful impact while maintaining a consistent part-time schedule?

Join a community focused Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to expanding access to high-quality healthcare for children and families. We are seeking an experienced Pediatrician who values relationship-based care, collaboration, and the opportunity to serve a diverse patient population.

This is a part-time position working three 9-hour shifts per week (27 hours) and is ideal for an experienced physician who wants to continue practicing meaningful, community-based medicine on a reduced schedule.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care, including well-child visits, acute care, and chronic disease management

  • Deliver preventive care, immunizations, and age-appropriate developmental and behavioral screenings

  • Build meaningful relationships with children and their families through continuity of care

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to address both medical and social needs

  • Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record

  • Provide care in accordance with HRSA, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal requirements

What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current, unrestricted Florida license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Current national board certification appropriate to the provider’s discipline and specialty
  • Minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical practice experience, preferably in pediatrics or primary care
  • Currently enrolled/credentialed with Florida Medicaid, or eligible to obtain enrollment
  • Current DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain DEA registration
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current PALS certification, or ability to obtain within the required timeframe following hire
  • Current prescriptive authority in accordance with Florida requirements and scope of practice
Preferred
  • Experience working in an FQHC, community health center, or underserved setting

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Experience caring for diverse and medically underserved patient populations
