Position: Cleaning Crew Member
Department: Sanitation / Production
Weekend Shift
Pay: $16

Position Summary
The Cleaning Crew is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe manufacturing environment. This position performs cleaning and sanitation duties throughout production areas, equipment, workstations, floors, and common areas while following company procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, floors, walls, workstations, and other designated areas.
  • Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain company quality standards.
  • Clean production equipment and tools according to approved procedures and schedules.
  • Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Follow all chemical handling, labeling, storage, and PPE requirements.
  • Complete cleaning and sanitation checklists and required documentation accurately.
  • Inspect cleaned areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards.
  • Report spills, damaged equipment, safety concerns, or sanitation issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitation during production line changeovers.
  • Remove trash, waste, and production debris from designated areas.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Follow GMPs and sanitation procedures to help prevent product contamination.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
  • Follow all company safety, attendance, and workplace policies.
  • Work closely with Production and Quality Control teams to maintain sanitation standards.
  • Perform other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
