Our multidisciplinary team serves children and families across Montgomery County, MD, with expertise in speech, language, motor, and cognitive development.Position OverviewWe are actively seeking a bilingual (Spanish speaking) Front Desk Coordinator & New Client Scheduler to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. This is a key position responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing scheduling and administrative tasks, and ensuring a seamless intake process for new families.Fluency in either Spanish is required for this role. Candidates who meet the skill and language requirements are guaranteed an interview.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Services & SchedulingGreet clients and families warmly and assist with check-in/check-outSchedule new client appointments and maintain accurate recordsSupport families in completing intake forms and documentationCommunicate with families in their preferred language (Spanish or Amharic)Insurance Verification & EligibilityVerify insurance coverage, copays, deductibles, and authorization requirementsCommunicate client benefits and responsibilities in a clear and compassionate mannerCollaborate with our billing team to resolve any insurance concernsAdministrative & Front Desk OperationsAnswer phone calls and respond to voicemails and emails professionallyMaintain confidential client records and support document collectionCollect copays and outstanding balancesKeep the reception area organized and welcomingCompliance & DocumentationEnsure all required documents are completed, filed, and up-to-dateMaintain HIPAA compliance at all timesTrack outstanding paperwork and authorizationsInternal Communication & Team CollaborationWork closely with therapists, administrative staff, and billing to support clinic operationsReport scheduling conflicts or client issues to appropriate departmentsCoordinate referrals and maintain accurate provider availabilityQualificationsFluency in Spanish is requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in a medical office or similar healthcare settingExperience with insurance verification and scheduling requiredStrong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer serviceProficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling platforms, and EMR systemsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detailPhysical RequirementsSitting for 6-8 hours/day for administrative tasksOccasional standing/walking for 2-4 hours/dayLight lifting up to 15 lbs (office supplies, files)Why Join Us?At National Therapy Center, we foster a supportive and inclusive environment where our staff is empowered to make a difference every day.
