In this role, you'll be moving equipment, arranging tables and chairs, and ensuring our spaces are pristine. We’re looking for someone who can handle the physical demands of lifting and moving items over 75 lbs, all while keeping a keen eye on safety and sanitation. $16 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to the specifications of the Banquet Event Orders, ensuring all details are meticulously aligned with client expectations.
- Collaborate with the banquet team to efficiently break down and reset spaces post-event, maintaining a seamless transition for upcoming functions.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in all event areas, ensuring that each space is pristine and inviting for guests.
- Assist with the transportation and arrangement of tables, chairs, and other equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in all movements.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs within the banquet spaces to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Work closely with the event coordinators to address any last-minute changes or requests, ensuring a smooth and successful event execution.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, prioritizing the well-being of guests and team members alike in every task undertaken.
Qualifications:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/push/pull objects up to 50-75+ lbs.
- Experience: Previous hospitality or banquet experience is often required.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow strict safety/sanitation procedures.
