MATERIAL HANDLER - PRODUCTION CONTROL -3rd SHIFT

Essential Functions

• Sort Kanbans by location for efficient pulling of components
• Loading/unloading components racks following FIFO
• Inspect component packaging for damage
• Pull components and load AGV per kanban request
• Operate pack mules
• Log incoming and outgoing AGV times
• Sort and band supplier empty totes
• Change charcoal bins
• Assist in Physical Inventory
• Report out of components situation immediately
• Daily 5S responsibilities
• Complete Daily Forklift check sheet and report any issues

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• It will also be expected that this activity will require Kaizen activity to improve efficiency
• Ability to quickly recognize problems
• Work in a team environment
• Must be able to read, write and understand English

Education Requirements

• High school diploma required
