They are seeking an experienced Senior Family Advisor to join their collaborative team and serve as a trusted advisor to sophisticated clients with complex financial, fiduciary, estate planning, tax, and investment needs.

This is a highly visible opportunity for a seasoned wealth professional who thrives in a high-touch, relationship-driven environment and enjoys serving as the quarterback across a family's broader financial and advisory needs. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, sound judgment, business development capabilities, and an established network within the UHNW community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for UHNW individuals and families, developing deep, long-term relationships and understanding their evolving financial and family objectives.
  • Advise clients on complex matters involving trusts, estate planning, fiduciary structures, agency accounts, investments, real estate, taxation, and financial planning.
  • Develop new client relationships and business opportunities through personal networking, professional relationships, referrals, and collaboration with senior leadership and internal teams.
  • Serve as the relationship quarterback, coordinating resources and delegating responsibilities to Client Advisory and other support professionals.
  • Partner closely with Investment Management, Portfolio Management, Tax, Operations, Trust, and Philanthropic/Foundation teams to deliver a seamless, integrated client experience.
  • Oversee client onboarding, account opening, asset transfers, distributions, documentation, and ongoing account administration.
  • Coordinate with investment professionals regarding portfolio reviews, investment performance discussions, liquidity needs, and trade activity.
  • Work collaboratively with tax and accounting professionals to ensure clients receive accurate information and timely support for tax filings and financial reporting.
  • Review and interpret sophisticated trust, estate, legal, and financial documents, identifying opportunities, risks, and planning considerations for clients.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the family's overall relationship with the firm.
  • Participate in senior-level committees, strategic initiatives, and other firm-wide projects.
  • Contribute to the continued growth, development, and reputation of the firm's UHNW client advisory platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, JD, or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Professional designation such as CFP, CTFA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in trust, estate planning, wealth management, or a related UHNW advisory environment.
  • 5+ years of experience providing comprehensive wealth advice and working directly with UHNW individuals and families.
  • Demonstrated success developing and maintaining high-value client relationships and generating new business.
  • Strong understanding of trusts, estate planning strategies, fiduciary structures, investments, taxation, and complex financial matters.
  • Ability to interpret and work effectively with sophisticated legal, trust, estate, and financial documents.
  • Established network of attorneys, CPAs, wealth professionals, and other centers of influence serving the UHNW market.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with discretion, sound judgment, professionalism, and a high degree of integrity.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across multiple disciplines in a highly customized client-service environment.

What the Firm Offers

  • Opportunity to work directly with UHNW individuals and families in a sophisticated multi-family office environment.
  • High visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the firm's continued growth.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with a strong emphasis on client relationships and long-term family outcomes.
  • Competitive base salary, performance-based bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
  • Significant opportunity for professional growth, expanded responsibility, and long-term career advancement.
