As the Food Service Support at the Primrose School of Aldie, you’ll help the chef prepare delicious, nutritious food that helps fuel children as they explore, play and develop a lifelong love of learning as well as help support teachers in the afternoon.

Nurture a child’s first five years by:

• Encouraging healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods
• Maintaining a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions
• Following the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director
• Assisting with ordering food and calculating the amount needed
• Support a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children
• Assist with age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management
• Ability to manage food service and catering operations
• Experience in assisting kitchen teams
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production

Salary Range: $14 - $17

Shift Schedule: 10am to 6:30pm
