Early Childhood - Assistant Director

The Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the center's care. Working closely with the Center Director, this role oversees curriculum and classroom activities, ensuring alignment with the needs of students and the center's objectives.

• Step in to cover the responsibilities of Center Director and Teachers when they're away, guaranteeing continuity and minimizing disruptions.
• Team up with staff to guarantee that our quality standards are met, whether that means implementing new procedures or fine-tuning existing ones to meet state and local regulations.
• Maintain open communication with families and the wider community through community outreach programs.
• Ensure seamless compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
• Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and quality improvement strategies.

• Must clear full background check.
• Associate's Degree in early childcare or CDA.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• High energy.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• 3 – 5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
