\tMove and/or obtain correct parts, materials, and tools, as necessary within the employee's assigned area as directed by management.
\tUse of all precision measuring instruments required to accomplish work assignments.
\tCapable of accessing and navigating electronic systems as required by the position program, and/or company. Company will provide training as required in a timely manner.
\tWorks safely and maintains a safe work environment adhering to established company safety requirements.
\tTrain, coach and/or assist fellow employees as requested or required by the company.
\tMaintain and utilize required personal certifications and qualifications as directed by the company to perform job assignments.
\tEnsure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure.
\tReport job handicaps such as: errors in parts, procedures, tools, sequences, etc.

\tRepresentative Duties 670D # Tulsa Only:
\tRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, planning documents, sketches, engineering orders, electronic work instructions, charts, and graphs to determine the methods and sequences of operations required to support processing and painting operations.
\tSet up and operate chern-mill processing equipment to remove specified amounts of metal from sheet metal parts, and assemblies, extrusions and forgings utilizing etching solution, includes developmental. Experimental, first run and parts with non - symmetrical surfaces, radial tapers, deep draws, or complex contours.
\tSet up and operate, adjust, and regulate various types and sizes of ovens and furnaces and quenching tanks to heat treat metal parts made from aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and other similar metals. Load on racks to minimize warpage and obtain even heat. As necessary operate hand and power moving and lifting equipment to place parts in ovens furnaces, and baths and quench.
\tSet up operate processing equipment to anodize and electro plate or clean metal parts and assemblies. Determine sequences of dips and rinses, position parts and electrodes, calculate and adjust immersion times, temperatures, and voltage amperage levels. Check and maintain processing solutions and chemicals in tanks as required.
\tSet up and operate various types of paint spraying equipment or dip, roll and brush interior, exterior prime, protective or finish coats on aircraft, automobiles, trucks, trailers, parts and assemblies.
\tThin and mix paints and other surfacing materials.
\tSet up and operate robotic spray coating equipment by selecting and loading program tapes, masking material surfaces, mixing blend coating material and controlling spray flow rates, pressures, plume geometry and robot travel speed and pattern.
\tApply finish coats where, difficult access and special care must be taken to avoid runs and inconsistencies of coat thickness, a baked smooth or wrinkle finish is required, assemblies require hand brushwork.
\tOperate robotic spray coating equipment to apply radar absorptive materials to surfaces.
\tPerform rework and touch-up when tests disclose rework necessary.
\tRecord manufacturing data and statistics manually or with the aid of a computer or computer-based system.
\tManager does not want anybody who was a former Spirit contractor/employee, please avoid submitting such candidates
\tManager will schedule a demo upon start to make sure contractor can paint
\tCandidate must have minimum 5 years of aircraft painter experience
\tMust be able to work any shift assigned
\tMust be able to stand for entire 8 hr. shift
\tMust be able work OT/Weekends as per business needs
\tNo per-diem on this position
