REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Fillings

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Graduation from an accredited dental school
• Residency: Accredited General Practice Residency preferred
• License: Unrestricted California dental license
• DEA: Unrestricted DEA license
• Certifications: Current CPR/BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license required
• Experience: Dental experience in community health or private practice
• Other Qualifications: Strong clinical, interpersonal, and written communication skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Examine, diagnose, and treat dental and oral conditions
• Provide preventive and restorative dental services
• Perform fillings, extractions, prophylaxis, SRP, and denture-related procedures
• Refer patients for specialty consultation and treatment when appropriate
• Maintain complete and accurate dental records
• Accurately code dental services for clinical and payer compliance
• Educate patients regarding oral health and disease prevention
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
• Collaborate with Medical and Behavioral Health divisions
• Participate in staff training, community outreach, and health education activities
