Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Personal Care Services MidSouth. As a Team Leader, you will oversee services provided to individuals in their own homes and communities, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and support. Responsibilities/Activities

  • Ensure that Agency policies and procedures and industry standards and regulations are followed

  • Assist with the coordination, evaluation, and planning of home care services

  • Assist the Manager with administrative activities and optimal use of resources

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic plans, goals, and objectives

  • Coordinate staffing activities and scheduling

  • Supervise work activities of designated employees

  • Develop and instruct employees in the use of practices, procedures, and equipment

  • Provide leadership and guidance to employees

  • Conduct in-home assessments and liaise with community resources and other agencies

Required Knowledge

  • Knowledge of standards of practice and scope of practice, in accordance with state regulations

  • Comprehensive knowledge of other healthcare disciplines and their role in client and family care

  • Knowledge of personal care and home management skills

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal care services, including needs determinants, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of client satisfaction

  • Physical and mental ability to drive a vehicle

Qualifications/Education

  • Current driver's license

  • High School graduate or equivalent (Current C.N.A. license)

Training/Experience

  • May require related experience

  • Preferred Experience: Two (2) or more years of experience in home care, healthcare marketing, business development, sales, or community outreach with a proven ability to build referral relationships and grow business within the healthcare community.
