Join Our Team as a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Day Shifts

We're looking for a compassionate, skilled, and detail-oriented Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. In this role, you'll make a meaningful difference every day by helping patients heal, preventing complications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

What You'll Do

As our Wound Care RN, you will play a vital role in promoting skin integrity and accelerating the healing process by:

  • Performing comprehensive wound and skin assessments for surgical wounds, pressure injuries, ulcers, vascular wounds, feeding tube sites, and other skin impairments.

  • Developing, implementing, and updating individualized wound care treatment plans.

  • Conducting weekly wound measurements and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

  • Participating in weekly wound rounds alongside the wound care consultant and interdisciplinary team.

  • Monitoring wounds for signs of healing, infection, and other complications while ensuring timely interventions.

  • Reviewing and investigating all new pressure-related skin injuries to support quality improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinating follow-up care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers.

  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers on wound prevention, treatment, and ongoing care.

  • Mentoring and demonstrating best wound care practices to nursing staff and caregivers.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred or equivalent experience).

  • Peripheral IV Certification.

  • Current CPR/BLS certification.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous wound care, long-term care, rehabilitation, or subacute experience.

  • Experience working with geriatric populations.

  • One (1) year of leadership or management experience.

  • Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and critical thinking skills.
