Join our team at the Nestlé Purina Child Development Center, a NAEYC-accredited early childhood center on Purina’s campus in downtown St. Louis. As an assistant/floater teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting our infant to prekindergarten classes and helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children.

What You'll Do
- Implement meaningful, hands-on learning activities in one-on-one and group settings, fostering a love of learning in our students.
- Collaborate with Lead Teachers to create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that cater to diverse skill levels and interests.
- Design and facilitate engaging math, literacy, and science learning activities that promote oral and written communication.
- Utilize daily mealtimes as opportunities for learning, socialization, and developing essential life skills.
- Assist in maintaining schedules and routines for the children, ensuring a sense of security and stability.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that emphasizes positive redirection and social responsibility.
- Build trust and strong relationships with the children and families we serve, providing individualized support and guidance.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and progress.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment by adhering to all center health and safety guidelines and rules.
- Exemplify high standards of professionalism and ethics in all aspects of your work.
Requirements
- · 1 year of experience working in early childhood
- High School diploma or Equivalent
