On Call Caregiver

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable On-Call Caregiver to join our team. As an On-Call Caregiver, you will be available to assist with urgent call-outs from other caregivers, stepping in to provide care and support to clients when needed. This position offers flexible hours, the ability to work as required, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of immediate care.

Responsibilities:

%CF; Be available for emergency call-outs from caregivers who may require assistance or coverage.

%CF; Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as

bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

%CF; Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.

%CF; Monitor client health and report any changes in condition to supervisors or healthcare providers.

%CF; Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.

%CF; Ensure the safety and comfort of clients while maintaining a clean and organized

environment.

%CF; Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

%CF; Respond promptly to on-call requests based on availability and shift requirements.

Qualifications:

%CF; Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), or similar role preferred.

%CF; Availability to respond to call-outs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as

needed.

%CF; Compassionate, patient, and caring attitude toward clients.

%CF; Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

%CF; Ability to follow care plans and work independently with minimal supervision.

%CF; CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

%CF; Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).

%CF; Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
