OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Registered Nursing Supervisor to join our team, Full-Time. Our dedicated health care team is an integral part of the compassionate quality care we provide for our residents and their families.

RN Duties Include:

  • As a Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor, complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.

  • Measure and record residents' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration as needed upon assessment.

  • Care Plan development and modification

  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

  • Administer high-quality nursing care to residents.

  • Develop and implement resident treatment and care plans.

  • Monitor and report any changes in resident symptoms or behaviors.

  • Communicate effectively with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding resident care.

  • Educate residents on health maintenance and disease prevention.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents.

  • Provide emotional support to residents and their families.

  • Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests.

  • Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Current New York State RN license in good standing.

  • Familiarity with NYS Department of Health regulations and guidelines.

  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
