Housekeeping

Heritage Manor of Ransomville is a caring and supportive assisted living community dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Housekeeping Associate to join our team and help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and resident care.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to facility standards
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Change bed linens, launder towels/sheets, and handle laundry per protocol
• Maintain housekeeping carts and supply closets, report inventory needs
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Assist with deep-cleaning tasks as needed
• Interact with residents in a polite, respectful, and compassionate manner
• Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to management

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and timemanagement skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Friendly and patient demeanor when interacting with elderly residents
