JOB SUMMARY:Agents service the aircraft lavatories with a lavatory truck that is equipped with the necessary tools needed to dump, flush, and refill the aircraft lavatories. Also, service aircraft by driving and operating the water truck. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Drive and operate a lavatory truck, for purpose of servicing aircraft lavatoriesDrives and/or operates other ground support equipmentDirect Hi Lift truck movement and positioning in the AirportUse personal protective equipment, including a face shield & hearing protectionAbility to comprehend and execute defined safe universal precaution control procedures concerning handling blood-borne pathogens and other hazardous wasteUse lavatory and sanitary water equipment to safety empty, flush and fill aircraft systems according to airline and regulatory requirementsFollow all local environmental procedures in emptying waste trucks and fueling same in designated areasComplete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists, including security searchesDemonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job locationExceed Airline customer service and safety standardsCarry out other duties as assigned* *QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Flexible work shifts will be assigned and can include late nights and early mornings.Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with US Aviation policies are required. Overtime available/required depending upon operational need.High school diploma/GED or equivalentMust be 18 years of age or olderMust possess and maintain a valid U.S. state driver's license (suspended, expired, revoked or denied licenses are not valid)Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorshipMust be able to clear a background check and a fingerprint-based criminal history checkMust be eligible to obtain and maintain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service clearancesMust be able to pass a drug screen test Must comply with US Aviation Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Policy
