Service Advisor - Construction & Industrial Equipment

Are you someone who can talk to a customer about a machine problem, work with a technician to determine what needs to be done, and keep the repair moving from start to finish?We're looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our Towanda, PA team. This is a key customer-facing position that connects our customers with our service technicians, parts department, and service management team. The right person will be organized, responsive, comfortable around equipment, and confident communicating both technical information and repair costs to customers.What You'll Do:Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair processBuild strong customer relationships through professional, timely, and knowledgeable serviceListen to customer concerns, document repair requests, and communicate equipment issues clearly, and estimated laborTrack repair progress and keep customers informed of status, delays, additional repairs, and completion timesPrepare accurate estimates for parts, labor, and total repair costsObtain customer approval for repairs and communicate changes to the original estimateProcess warranty claims and maintain accurate repair documentationCoordinate parts requirements with the Parts DepartmentMaintain accurate customer and equipment recordsReview completed work and prepare final customer invoicesFollow up with customers after repairs to ensure their needs were metHelp ensure repairs move efficiently from initial customer concern through final deliveryWhat We're Looking For:We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in equipment and how it works.Strong candidates may come from a service advisor, service writer, equipment technician, parts, dealership, automotive, diesel, agricultural, or industrial equipment background.The ideal candidate will have:Excellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organization and attention to detailThe ability to manage multiple repairs and priorities at the same timeComfort discussing repair needs, estimates, parts, and labor with customersThe ability to communicate effectively with technicians and service managementBasic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or diesel systemsExperience working with construction, industrial, agricultural, aerial, or heavy equipment is strongly preferredComputer proficiency and the ability to learn service and dealership softwareA valid driver's license and clean driving recordA high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.ScheduleFull-timeMonday - FridaySeasonal Saturday rotation may applyPay Range: $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
