Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience
- Respond quickly and effectively during emergent situations
Qualifications:
- Current RN License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- BLS Required
- ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications preferred or required depending on facility
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
