Mountain View Care Center, a premier provider of mental, emotional, and overall health support and care, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing, (RN) (DON) to lead our nursing team in Boulder City, Nevada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents while upholding our commitment to creating a warm, loving, home-like environment.

About the Role

As the Director of Nursing, (RN) (DON), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing operations, including staff management, clinical oversight, and quality improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the Executive Director and other members of the leadership team to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and programs that align with our mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management

  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and programs that align with our mission and values

  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including survey readiness and QAPI initiatives

  • Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and teamwork among nursing staff

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and services

  • Participate in budget development and management, ensuring efficient use of resources

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of Nevada

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
