Position Overview: A paraprofessional person working on a therapeutic team involved in the operation of a transitional 24-hour group home facility.

Job Duties:

  1. Acts as lead-worker in group home, completing monthly summaries, requisition and claim forms, work orders, collecting monthly rent, completing census. The lead is the first point of contact for assisting group home workers.
  2. Assists in matters relating to daily living in the group home including, but not limited to procurement of food, meal preparation, care and maintenance of the house and grounds and supervision of the residents.
  3. May help plan, and purchase supplies for 24-hour group home facility.
  4. Assists clients in problems relating to daily living activities.
  5. Must complete and pass medication training test within initial probation period.
  6. Performs crisis intervention.
  7. Assists in team evaluation and treatment planning for clients.
  8. Assist psychiatric nurse in medication monitoring for group home clients and distribute packaged medications.
  9. Maintains required paperwork for assigned clients including rental applications in accordance with Many Rivers policy.
  10. Enter group home progress notes into EHR.
  11. Consults with Group Home Operations Manager on program development.
  12. Coordinates socialization and recreational activities for group home clients.
  13. Transports clients as needed.
  14. Participates in in-service training as directed by immediate supervisor.
  15. Other duties as assigned by management.
  16. May work nights, overnights, weekends, holidays if needed.
  17. Must have valid driver's license, vehicle registration and personal vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. One - two years of group home experience or an associate degree is required.
  2. One or more years of leadership/managerial experience preferred.
  3. Completion of high school or equivalency is required.
  4. MT Driver’s License, valid vehicle insurance, and vehicle is required.
  5. Previous experience serving persons with a mental health illness preferred.
    Must be able to transport clients.
  6. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Wage: $19.80 per hour

Shift Differential $1.00 an hour: Weekday night shift hours are 11:00 pm – 9:00 am. Weekend hours are Friday from 11:00 pm until 9:00 am on Monday.
