Job Description
Plant Maintenance and Reliability Lead

Do you lead with safety? Do you turn strategy into action? Can you coach a team while keeping customers informed and assets running? If yes, you may be the leader we’re looking for.

Why this role matters

You connect people, process, and performance. You’ll safeguard a culture rooted in ATS values, guide technicians through change, and ensure the Operating System becomes how the team works—every shift, every task.

What you will do
  • Safety + 5S: Manage the Site Safety Program, enforce policy compliance, drive housekeeping excellence, and advance Beyond Zero safety/wellness initiatives.
  • Clarity + change: Understand site and enterprise strategies; translate them into daily expectations; help the team adopt new processes and procedures smoothly.
  • Culture + leadership: Execute day-to-day team priorities using leadership competencies aligned to our ATS culture; demonstrate self-motivation and emotional intelligence.
  • Growth + coaching: Direct performance management and development planning; mentor team members on training and skill growth through consistent one-on-ones.
  • Results + improvement: Embed the Operating System; support the Site Manager in KPI reporting and root cause analysis; act on findings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Customer + communication: Keep the customer updated—priorities, issues, equipment status—and escalate when needed to protect outcomes and relationships.
  • Costs + schedules: Assist the Site Manager with managing labor, overtime, and materials; approve overtime requests; review CMMS work orders, confirm schedule adherence, and fix gaps.
  • Team rhythm: Lead and contribute to team meetings; align the group on expectations and follow-through.
What you bring
  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years in a related field, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with Microsoft applications, web-based tools, and CMMS platforms.
Nice to have
  • Business savvy: contracts, understanding the customer’s business, negotiation, billing models, financial know-how, and relationship building.
  • Planner/scheduler experience.
Also important
  • Proficiency: Supervisory experience.
